H2S Scavenger Powder or H2S Scavenger P is a powder zinc-based mixture which is used as hydrogen sulfide scavenger for water-based muds. H2S Scavenger P reduce corrosion of downhole tools and surface equipment in oil-field which is related to H2S gas. Powder H2S Scavenger reacts relatively fast and is optimum for removing H2S in shortest time. Other H2S Scavengers in drilling industry are Mono Ethanol Amine (MEA) and Triazine.
