DESCRIPTION :
Dispersants and Deflocculants (Thinners) are liquid or powdered additives formulated to control rheology and reduce the viscosity of drilling fluids. They act on clay platelets and solids particles, preventing flocculation and improving dispersion to maintain a stable, pumpable mud system.
APPLICATION :
Used in water-based muds to thin and condition high-solids systems, improve flow properties, and enhance the efficiency of solids control equipment. Ideal for high-temperature, high-salinity, and contaminated systems where viscosity and gel strengths require tight control.
