Cellulosic Fibrous LCM is a specially processed blend of cellulose-based fibrous materials
designed to control lost circulation in water-based and oil-based drilling fluids. Its unique
fiber length distribution helps bridge and plug porous, fractured, and highly permeable
formations, minimizing fluid loss and stabilizing the wellbore.
APPLICATION :
Used as a lost circulation material in drilling, workover, and completion fluids to cure both
seepage and partial loss zones. It is added directly into the active system to seal
micro-fractures, vugs, and high-permeability formations and helps maintain wellbore integrity
while drilling through troublesome zones.
ADVANTAGES :
Compatible with water-based and many oil-based mud systems.
Provides effective bridging and plugging in a wide range of formations.
Helps reduce non-productive time (NPT) due to lost circulation.
Minimizes differential sticking and improves wellbore stability.
Non-toxic, environmentally acceptable, and easy to handle.
Can be used in both preventive and remedial treatments.
